Wow, this is absolutely amazing. The contrast of light and shadow is truly stunning and the clarity is impressive. What a perfect moment!

The lighting for this is perfect for the silhouettes and the textures. The silhouette of the caterpillar is definitely the focal point of this picture because of how it conflicts with the light background behind it. You caught the caterpillar in profile, as well, so the legs and everything are perfect. I love how each of the different textures of the silhouettes, such as the spikes on the stem of the leaf are are visible. Even better than that is the texture of the leaf. Each of the contours is shadowed beautifully by the sun, and the dark shadows are balanced by the light flat part of the leaf.

Beautiful image, and I think the name fits it perfectly. This is absolutely an image that symbolizes planet earth.
